Hello. I am Jim Heitmeyer. I grew up in Paradise Valley in 1953 after moving there from the city of Sunnyslope. My memories of Paradise Valley will always be cherished. It was a time my parents were still alive and that we were all together as a  family. We spent alot of time together having fun, exploring Arizona and the old Indian ways of life. I will remember the Paradise Valley Day Parades, running wildly away from my sisters when they would take a notion to chase me with a flyswatter or throw something at me. I lived in the valley from 1953 to 1969. These Golden years are gone now and that Paradise Valley will never be the same again.
